At Suburban Pet Care, our vision is twofold.
Since 2000, we have provided only the finest in-home care for your pets. Whether you are on a week-long vacation or just working late, our visits save your pets the stress of being boarded by allowing them to maintain their familiar routines.
In 2018, we also began offering basic obedience/training lessons. These sessions, which are individually tailored to meet your dog’s needs, teach your pet the appropriate behaviors to be a fun, well-mannered family member.
Care and compassion. Time and training. No matter what you and your pet’s needs, we are here to help.

About us
Our story
Suburban Pet Care began in January 2000 after I had a bad experience boarding my own dogs while on vacation and knew I didn’t want someone else to experience the same. From my love of animals and passion to help others when they are away from their pets, Suburban Pet Care was born. Over my 20+ years of experience, I’ve taken care of everything from small reptiles to large horses and everything in-between.

To care for your pets as if they were my own whatever your needs. For training, to help you teach your dog how to be a well mannered and happy member of society whether in your home life or in competition.

Services
How can we help?
Whether you’ve got a long day at work, a business trip, or some other event and you can’t bring your furry family member, we can take care of them like they were one of our own.
We can also provide home security, making it look as if you are home. We can water plants, turn lights off and on, bring in your mail and paper, and set out your trash.
Another function of Suburban Pet Care is training. Does your four-legged friend need some help becoming a well mannered member of the family? Are your arms getting longer when you walk the dog because of pulling? Suburban Pet Care can help.
Lisa enjoys competitive dog sports with her beloved Rottweilers. She has competed in National Events and earned many high-level degrees and titles with them.
Obedience Training
$40/hr
We train in order to make our dogs become what we want. If you are interested in competition with your dog, we can help with that too.
Pet sitting
$20 per visit
Going out of town, need someone to watch your furry friend. That’s what we do. Prices are per visit and up to 4 pets.
Dog Walking
$20 for a 20 min walk
Do you work long hours or have a new puppy that needs some time out during the middle of the day. We can help
Pet Taxi
$35 per trip
Does your dog need to go to the groomer during working hours, or even the vet. We can help.

I am currently an instructor at the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club in Raytown, MO, where I teach upper level, competitive obedience. I am also an assistant training director for the Mid Missouri Working Dog Club.
